Gertrude Street Projection Festival 2016 brand refresh

io was approached by the Gertrude Street Projection Association to work on the 2016 Festival, to refresh the brand with a more current and progressive look. We looked to partner an artist who has a connection and history with the event so collaborated with Kate Geck. Using her illustration style as a basis, we created a refreshed GSPF brand, able to be rolled out in advertising, event materials and online to produce a spontaneous and energetic look for the event.


The Gertrude Street Projection Festival focuses on digital projection art lining the street for 9 days of winter. Running for 9 years the festival has been a hub for digital projection artists around Australia.
